Hi, my name is Ringo and I’m the oldest team member of Team Ineka. At 11 years young I have taken a few veteran mushers over the mountains of the Yukon and through the treacherous burn region onto and under the burled arch of Nome. I joined Team Ineka 3 years ago and I am honored to be enjoying my retirement training young pups to be great leaders. I have earned my place in the dog yard here at Team Ineka but Ms. Michele has moved me to what she affectionately calls the “old man” kennel. It’s a large 20×20 foot kennel with a nice roof over my head and my comfy dry dog house tucked in out of the weather.
Even though I won’t be taking Robert through the burled arch in Nome I have every confidence that the leaders I have trained will get him and the team there.
I look forward to leading Nicole’s team and possibly Tyler’s team this year as they both compete.
